FALLS CHURCH, Va. — The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association (PHCC) has scheduled its 2026 Legislative Conference for Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6, at the Yotel in Washington, D.C. Registration is open for members and other plumbing and HVAC professionals.
This year’s conference — co-hosted with the American Supply Association (ASA) — will bring contractors and industry leaders to Capitol Hill to meet with federal legislators and discuss policies that impact the plumbing and HVACR industries. Attendees will receive expert political insights, targeted issue briefings, personalized advocacy coaching, and scheduled in-person meetings with members of Congress, a PHCC press release said.
Brent Buchanan, a government affairs strategist and expert on political trends and advocacy, will be the keynote speaker. Buchanan will provide attendees with insights into the current political landscape and practical guidance on how contractors can effectively engage with policymakers to advance plumbing and HVAC priorities, the press release said.
Participants will also have the opportunity to educate policymakers on protecting America’s energy future, reforming energy policy, and supporting workforce programs and registered apprenticeships. Evening receptions and networking events will provide additional opportunities to connect with peers and policymakers.
Early bird registration and hotel block rates are available through Friday, April 10. Click here for more information or to register.
