BRANTFORD, Ontario — KeepRite Refrigeration proudly celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. Since its founding in 1945 in Brantford, Ontario, the company has been innovating, providing advanced refrigeration solutions to industries across the globe.

Over the past eight decades, KeepRite Refrigeration has grown from a local Canadian manufacturer into an international company, with manufacturing facilities in Brantford, Ontario and Longview, Texas. These facilities are equipped with the latest technologies, enabling world-class product design, manufacturing, and testing.

“Our commitment to engineering excellence and innovation has been the driving force behind our success for 80 years,” said John Murray, president of KeepRite Refrigeration. “From walk-in coolers/freezers and supermarkets to pharmaceutical applications and industrial cooling, our products help businesses thrive by delivering reliability, efficiency, and custom-tailored solutions.”

Leading the Transition to A2L Refrigerants

As the refrigeration industry moves toward lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants, KeepRite Refrigeration is providing solutions that support the safe and effective use of A2L-classified refrigerants, such as R-454A, R-454C, and R-455A.

Designed to meet the US January 1, 2026, commercial refrigeration requirements, KeepRite Refrigeration’s next-generation condensing units and evaporators are optimized for A2L refrigerants — offering reduced environmental impact without compromising system performance.

“Our A2L-compatible platforms reflect our commitment to sustainability, regulatory compliance, and forward-thinking design,” said Murray.. “We are equipping our customers with the tools and technologies they need to stay ahead of the curve.”
