Jobber Partners with Bring Back the Trades to Unlock $15,000 in Scholarships

RYE, New Hampshire — National nonprofit Bring Back the Trades (BBTT) is proud to announce its partnership with Jobber, the leading provider of home service software, to raise awareness about the value of skilled trades careers and fund scholarships for future trades professionals.

As part of Jobber’s launch of its 2025 Annual Blue Collar Report, the company has pledged to donate $10 to Bring Back the Trades for every share of the report’s announcement post on Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and Facebook — up to $15,000. These funds will directly support vocational school scholarships, helping at least 10 students pursue careers in high-demand trades.

The Annual Blue Collar Report highlights how shifting economic conditions, rising costs, and the impact of AI are influencing families’ perceptions of job security and career choices. While more members of Gen Z and their parents are recognizing the stability and opportunity of trades careers, outdated perceptions and low awareness still discourage many students from pursuing these essential paths.

Key findings from Jobber’s 2025 Blue Collar Report include:

•    Only 16% of Gen Z parents believe a college degree guarantees long-term job

•    security.

•    77% of Gen Z want a career that is tough to automate.

•    72% of Gen Z parents have discussed automation’s career impact with their children.

•    Yet, only 7% of parents say they would prefer their child to enter the trades.

“The future of our workforce depends on reshaping how families view the trades,” said Steve Turner, founder and CEO of Bring Back the Trades. “Thanks to Jobber’s generous support, we can provide scholarships that not only reduce barriers for students but also highlight the trades as rewarding, sustainable, and vital career paths.”

“The trades are critical to safe and functioning communities,” said Moly Milosovic, head of community at Jobber. “And they offer young people the leadership, financial, and entrepreneurial opportunities they’re looking for — everyone wins when we encourage the next generation to consider the trades. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Bring Back the Trades.”

The campaign runs through September 16, and every share of Jobber’s post will contribute to real scholarship funding for future tradespeople.
