In August, there was a number of price increases in the HVAC industry. Manufacturers and suppliers including Howell Linesets (various increases, effective August 1), IBC Tankless Heaters (various effective August 1), PDM Linesets (various increases, effective August 1), Cambridge Resources (tariff increase on items containing metal, effective August 1), ecobee (up to 7% increase, effective August 1), Panasonic Fans (1% increase, effective August 11), Copeland Compressors (various increases, effective August 16), InOvate Technologies (5% increase, effective August 11), Refrigeration Technologies (up to 7% increase (some items decreased), effective August 1), Robertshaw (various increases, effective August 24), Sporlan (2% increase, effective August 22), Generalaire (various increases, effective August 21), Viega (various increases, effective August 18), and Parker Aftermarket (tariff increase of 1% on HVAC items carried by Geary Pacific, effective August 14), announced these changes reflecting a mix of tariffs, rising raw material costs, and other various market pressures.
