Distributor Plans Week-Long Recognition of Trades Workers
MELVILLE, N.Y. — SupplyHouse, an e-commerce distributor of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies, is celebrating the upcoming National Tradesperson Day with a week of recognition, giveaways, and a campaign that highlights the vital role tradespeople play in their communities. National Tradeperson Day is Friday, Sept. 19.
This year’s campaign theme, “Built for This,” celebrates the toughness and resilience of skilled professionals who show up when the job gets tough — fixing emergencies, solving problems, and keeping homes and businesses running smoothly, a press release from SupplyHouse said.
“Tradespeople are the backbone of our daily lives. They’re the ones who show up when there are major leaks, no heat, and sparking outlets, and they do it with skill and determination,” said Josh Meyerowitz, founder and CEO of SupplyHouse. “At SupplyHouse, we see it as our responsibility to recognize and support them not just on National Tradesperson Day, but all year long.”
During the week of Monday, Sept. 15, through Friday, Sept. 19, SupplyHouse will give back to the trades community through:
• Daily prize drawings: Professionals can win Yeti cooler bags, or lunches for the pro on the go.
• Grand prize giveaway: One grand prize winner will win a trip to an industry trade show, plus a Milwaukee Tool Combi Kit.
• Special recognition: SupplyHouse will debut a campaign to thank tradespeople and spotlight their essential roles.
The celebration, the press release said, builds on SupplyHouse’s efforts to uplift and invest in skilled trades through programs like TradeMaster, a loyalty and benefits program for licensed professionals, and Track to the Trades, a national scholarship program hosted by SupplyHouse for those entering plumbing, HVAC, or electrical careers.

The 2025 Track to the Trades application period is open through Friday, Nov. 7, and scholarship winners will be announced in December. Applications can be submitted online.
To be eligible for SupplyHouse’s week of National Tradesperson Day activities, individuals must be a tradesperson in the plumbing, HVAC, or electrical fields, and be a registered SupplyHouse TradeMaster member. No purchase is necessary.
