2025 Top 40 Under 40: Steve Raimondi

When Steve Raimondi started in the warehouse at Munch’s Supply 22 years ago, it was just supposed to be a short-term role as he pondered what the next step in his life would be. Spoiler alert: It wasn’t, and he’s been with the company ever since.
“I immediately fell in love with the company and the people I worked for,” said Raimondi. “As I grew within the company, I also developed a passion for the industry and never wanted to leave.”
Now as regional vice president, Raimondi attributes all his success to the Munch team — and says he just plays a role within it.
“We have grown and held strong market share within our Illinois and Indiana markets, and are on a path for significant market share growth in our Michigan market,” Raimondi said. “This is done through strong sales teams, operations teams, inventory, training, backend support teams like technical support, marketing, etc.”
Raimondi played a role in launching Munch’s Vendor Managed Inventory program, which helps dealers better serve their customers while managing costs. He’s also led efforts to develop internal talent, helping team members grow from entry-level roles into leadership.
“Team development is important to me,” Raimondi said. “I started out at the ground level within this organization, and I believe strongly in promoting from within to put people on a path to challenge themselves and find success. I am proud to say many of our leaders began their journeys in entry-level roles and grew into the impactful leaders they are today through dedication and development.”
Raimondi said Munch’s has multiple territory managers who have been recognized as top 10 in the country — some multiple years in a row.

“All this is done through constantly looking for ways to enhance and develop our teams,” Raimondi said.
Raimondi’s career goals center on creating opportunities for others and driving broader business growth. He aims to mentor and develop his team so they’re ready to take on new roles as the company evolves, while also expanding market share by strengthening customer relationships and offering proactive, value-driven programs. He’s focused on scaling initiatives that set the company apart and leveraging its HVAC success to deliver the same level of impact across other industries.
“There are so many great things about this industry, it is constantly evolving and benefiting from significant innovations,” Raimondi said. “There are a multitude of career opportunities, from technical skills to leadership roles. It's essential and resistant to recessions, which delivers stable and secure career paths for years to come.”
