She started on the HR side but quickly moved into sales support roles and leading events and education for contractor partners — and that’s where things started to click for her.

“In that role, I found my groove of partnering with vendors and contractors alike,” said Radawitz. “Once I understood their experiences more, I saw a need in the industry to address the human side of leadership.”

Once Radawitz recognized a gap in leadership development — specifically, the need for long-term, people-focused growth rather than the traditional method of one or two-off workshops. Those, she realized, didn’t create sustainable behavior change that comes with a leadership journey. And it all led her to Velocity Leader.

“Learning is an active experience — you must learn new info, then reflect on it and practice it,” Radawitz said. “The Velocity Philosophy is a slow, steady approach to learning & development — we start with ‘inner game’ of leadership, which is focused on mindset and leading ourselves well and then we move into the ‘outer game’ focused on working with others well.”

In Velocity Leader’s first year, Radawitz facilitated leadership growth experiences for over 150 contractors and doubled that in year two. She also plays a leading role in the “Women in Arena” space within the Can’t Stop the Growth community and serves on two committees for Women in HVACR.

“My career goal is to continue to empower, equip, and energize leaders in this industry to lead themselves and their people well,” Radawitz said. “Whether that’s partnering with distributors to elevate their branch managers or working with contractors to elevate the owners or managers — the end goal is the same: to impact people to show up as a leader in their lives at work and at home.”
