2025 Top 40 Under 40: Ryan Otto

Ryan Otto is another accidental HVAC industry find. He didn’t set out to be here, but when he was asked to drive his roommate to service calls, he just loved it. From there, Otto started his career by doing installs —“where I believe every HVAC tech should start,” he said.
He then moved up to residential and commercial and refrigeration. Now, standing as the operations manager at No Problem Heating and Cooling, the industry has seemingly given back what he’s given to it — everything. It’s where he met his wife — who was a dispatcher at his first company — and “we have two wonderful kids,” Otto said.
Today, Otto is helping No Problem Heating and Cooling’s continued expansion while mentoring younger techs and building a team culture grounded in honor and skill.
“I’m focused on driving No Problem Heating and Cooling’s growth into a dominant regional HVAC provider, while mentoring the next generation of technicians and fostering a team that’s known for integrity and craftsmanship,” Otto said.
Along the way, he’s earned several industry accolades, including a Department of Labor Apprenticeship completion, Certificates of Merit from Trane, and the 2024 Best New Dealer award from Trane’s Heartland Region.
But what sets Otto apart is his dedication to customer satisfaction — so much so that a customer for whom he installed and maintained an HVAC system nominated him for this year’s Top 40 Under 40.
“The experience exceeded all our expectations,” the customer said. “From the very beginning, Ryan demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for our needs. He took the time to explain the options available, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and his team completed the job with exceptional attention to detail.”

What stood out most to this customer was the quick response and turnaround for the installation at hand.
“In an industry where quality and trust are so important, Ryan represents the best of the best,” she said. “I am grateful for the service provided and believe he deserves recognition for his outstanding work and dedication to customer satisfaction.”
