2025 Top 40 Under 40: Bailey McCormick

Bailey McCormick ended up in HVAC by total accident: A family friend was looking for some office help, so in walked McCormick with no dispatcher experience to a workplace full of techs who didn’t want someone new telling them what to do. But as the company grew and shifted toward residential service and replacement, McCormick grew right alongside it.
“I took on more responsibility, developed a deep interest in operations, sales, and the business side of things, and eventually became a key part of the company’s growth and successful sale,” McCormick said. “Along the way, I found myself stepping into leadership — learning how to lead effectively and helping identify and develop emerging leaders within the team.”
As the kids say, McCormick went from 0 to 100 real quick. She may have started out as someone with zero industry knowledge/experience, but fast forward a few years, and she eventually became an instrumental part in company growth.
“I became a key player in scaling the business, helping it dominate the local market and ultimately positioning it for a successful exit,” McCormick said. “That experience lit a fire, and I’ve since used what I learned to coach other companies — improving customer service, streamlining operations, and dialing in their overall efficiency.”
Another notable accomplishment of McCormick’s is building the company’s business backbone, when there previously wasn’t one.
“I took a company that was being run entirely from the field and built out the entire back end — implemented QuickBooks, launched ServiceTitan, developed a full warehouse and inventory management system, and created standardized truck stock setups for both service and install teams in 6 months,” McCormick said.
Looking ahead, McCormick wants to continue to improve business operations — and get that cash.
“I want to continue modernizing and streamlining operations in the trades, making business more efficient, scalable, and customer-focused while also creating an environment where employees can grow and excel in their craft and make a lot of money doing it,” McCormick said.
