That mindset has guided her work at SupplyHouse, where she currently serves as vice president of merchandising.

“My biggest goal has always been to stay focused on the customer — especially the tradespeople who are out there solving real problems every day,” Harrison said.

One of her most notable accomplishments has been building SupplyHouse’s HVAC merchandising team from the ground up. When she joined, there was no one on the team solely focused on HVAC. She created the business plan, built the case for investment, and hired the right people. Today, her team includes 37 dedicated merchandising professionals and 15 additional staff members across the company supporting HVAC.

“We believed in this industry and in this customer enough to build something entirely dedicated to their needs,” she said.

Another major win for Harrison was leading SupplyHouse’s refrigerant changeover preparation, working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure readiness — from both a product and education standpoint. Her efforts led to a suite of tools to help contractors stay ahead of the transition.

Harrison also saw a big opportunity when it came to leveraging unit-to-part data. So naturally, she formed another team to create a plan to become the best in class in that space — partnering with vendors to gather the right data and leading cross-functional meetings to turn that vision into a reality.

Harrison also spearheaded a revamping of SupplyHouse’s parts taxonomy — designing a new structure with intuitive categories and industry-specific terms that make it faster and easier for contractors to find what they need, “because every item matters when you're out in the field and need to find the right part, fast.”

“I’ve always loved helping people get what they need to do their jobs well, and that’s what drew me to this industry,” said Harrison. “I value the HVAC trade and the role we play in helping contractors support the end customer. … Everything I do ladders up to that central goal: making sure the tradespeople we serve feel supported, equipped, and confident from start to finish.”
