SupplyHouse Seeks Applicants for Trades Scholarships

MELVILLE, N.Y. — SupplyHouse, an e-commerce company for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies, has launched its second annual Track to the Trades scholarship program, which awards $25,000 in scholarships to students who are pursuing careers in the trades.
This year’s program will award 10 $2,500 scholarships to eligible trade school students across the U.S. who demonstrate generosity, respect, integrity and teamwork — or GRIT, the acronym for SupplyHouse’s core values — and have a commitment to entering the skilled trades workforce.
“We’re proud to stand behind students choosing careers in the trades,” said Kaylin Staub, chief marketing officer at SupplyHouse. ”Our goal is to remove financial barriers and continue to highlight the importance of this industry.”
Past Track to the Trades scholarship recipient Saul de la Cruz said the program “inspires me to keep working hard and contribute positively to the industry.”
The scholarship applications opened on July 7 and can be accessed online here. The application deadline is Friday, Nov.. 7, and recipients will be announced on Sunday, Dec. 7. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in or accepted to a U.S. trade school.
