Description: The Pate Sound Shield (PSS) is the first in a new line of rooftop sound reduction and vibration isolation products for commercial and industrial buildings. Designed to integrate with the company’s existing roof curbs, the PSS reduces noise transfer through roof-mounted equipment and improves thermal performance. The system features a high-density, flexible acoustic barrier and a batten insulation layer rated at R-8.0. Performance testing shows sound reductions ranging from 13 to 75 decibels, depending on the application, with sound transmission class (STC) ratings between STC27 and STC58.
