Smart Care Acquires Kentucky Refrigeration Firm
CHICAGO — Smart Care, which provides commercial mechanical services, including stand-alone refrigeration, HVAC, and rack refrigeration, has acquired Mr. C Refrigeration Inc., a cold storage and refrigeration installation and repair company based in Louisville, Kentucky.
The move advances Smart Care’s growth strategy and improves its ability to respond to customer needs, the company said in a press release. With the addition of Mr. C, Smart Care furthers its commercial refrigeration capabilities in the Louisville area and the surrounding region.
Smart Care is a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners. The addition of Mr. C is Smart Care’s 13th acquisition since partnering with Wind Point.
Mr. C joins Smart Care’s climate solutions business, which specializes in refrigeration systems and serves customers that include grocery stores, warehouses, convenience stores, and restaurants across the U.S.
