Distributor Consolidates Rochester, N.Y., Operations

BEDFORD, Mass. — F.W. Webb Co. has consolidated its Rochester, New York, operations into a 170,000-square-foot facility, creating a comprehensive resource to propel the work of trades professionals across Western New York.
The new building combines F.W. Webb’s former wholesale location and its water works facility into a fully integrated operation designed to maximize efficiency and convenience, a press release from F.W. Webb said.
“This new facility strengthens our presence in a rapidly expanding market and delivers valuable new solutions to our customers,” said Bob Mucciarone, F.W. Webb’s COO. “By unifying operations and adding a self-serve concept, this new location advances our mission to give our customers what they need, when and where they need it.”
More than four times the size of the previous wholesale location, the new facility stocks tens of thousands of products in the plumbing; HVAC; pipes, valves, and fittings; industrial; and water works categories.
The new facility has an expanded service counter: Trades professionals can receive in-person support, technical guidance, and product expertise from F.W. Webb’s team, eliminating guesswork from product selections and helping projects run smoothly.
“With top-quality products from leading manufacturers, comprehensive project support, and expert in-person guidance, the experience at our new facility demonstrates our time-honored philosophy: ‘We’ve got it,’” said Jon Stevens, general manager of F.W. Webb’s Rochester operations. “From the road to the faucet in your home, we have everything you need under one roof.”
