Description: RectorSeal has expanded its condensate management offerings with the introduction of the Safe-T-Switch SSL (Elbow), a compact float switch designed specifically for HVAC installations in tight or space-restricted environments. Engineered with a 90° elbow configuration, the SSL model provides a practical solution for installations in closets or other confined areas where traditional float switches may not fit easily. The Safe-T-Switch SSL features a magnetic reed switch that enables it to function on surfaces angled up to 20°, and it can be installed on either the primary or auxiliary outlet of the HVAC drain pan. It automatically shuts down the HVAC system when water is detected, preventing potential overflow or water damage. Additional components include an adjustable ratcheting float level, a code-compliant inline cleanout, and installation accessories such as a cleanout tool, threaded adapter, and plug.
