Nexson Acquires Heat Exchanger Builder Thermowave

GARCHIZY, France — Nexson Group SAS, a manufacturer of heat exchangers and pressure vessels, has acquired Thermowave GmbH, a German company that makes heat exchangers for HVAC applications as well as specialized equipment for industrial refrigeration, the food industry, the chemical industry, and other sectors. Thermowave had been a part of Güntner GmbH & Co. KG.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Thermowave will operate as a stand-alone company under its existing name, a press release from Nexson Group said. The acquisition is expected to strengthen and complement Nexson Group’s portfolio.
“We are confident that Nexson Group with the acquisition of Thermowave will utilize significant future growth opportunities with positive impact for customers globally in search of a wide range of reliable, quality heat exchangers from one single source,” a statement from Nexson Group said.
Thermowave’s portfolio includes the thermolineEco series of plate heat exchangers and the thermolinePure line of plate heate exchangers for heating and cooling in the food and beverage industry.
