ATLANTA — Estes Services, a family-owned provider of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, is marking its 75th anniversary.

The year-long celebration kicked off Jan. 27 at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Employees and partners of Estes Services were joined by their loved ones for an event that featured a retrospective of the company's journey, an acknowledgment of dedicated long-term employees, and the recognition of outstanding performers across different departments, a press release from Estes said.

“We are thrilled to reach this incredible milestone of 75 years in business. Our collective effort as a team has led to the company’s success over the past 75 years,” said Brian Estes, company president. “Estes Services is not just a company; it’s a family, a community of individuals who believe in the power of hard work and pursuit of excellence.”

Estes Services, initially named Estes Heating and Air, dates back to 1949, when Brian’s grandfather, Nap Estes, laid the foundation. In 1971, Brian’s father, Tommy Estes, joined the company; he was inducted into the Carrier Hall of Fame in 2014.

Following in his footsteps, Brian Estes has continued to expand the company’s workforce development and service agreements. The company started with just three employees and has 187 employees today.

Estes Services has initiated the Estes HVAC Tech Builder Program, which offers HVAC training in Atlanta. This program aims to cultivate the next generation of HVAC technicians, contributing to employment growth within the community, the company said.

Over the years, Estes Services has garnered various accolades, including the Contractor of the Year award from ACCA in 1999, the Residential Contractor of the Year award from Contracting Business in 2010, and the 2023 President’s Award from Carrier.
