Under the partnership, Field Controls will become the primary U.S. distributor of the Tadiran Airow 3, a hydrogen peroxide air cleaner designed to enhance IAQ in residential and commercial spaces.

The partnership between Field Controls and Tadiran brings together two industry leaders with a shared commitment to delivering innovative solutions that improve the lives of individuals and families across the globe, said a press release from Field Controls.

The Tadiran Airow 3, with Tadiran’s patented technology, is a compact hydrogen peroxide air-disinfectant device. It is engineered to fit into mini split units, ceiling cassettes, and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) ductless split systems.

The Tadiran Airow 3 works by using a discharge current to break oxygen molecules into two separate atoms. The free oxygen atoms combine with water molecules in the airflow and transform into purifying hydrogen peroxide. The hydrogen peroxide is then distributed through the indoor a/c unit, travels into the conditioned space, and breaks down the walls, membranes, and structures of airborne pathogens.

The quantities of hydrogen peroxide released by the device were tested and found to be below the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s occupational exposure limit of hydrogen peroxide, over an eight-hour period, of 1 ppm, Field Controls said.

The partnership will have Field Controls distribute, support, and provide guidance on the Tadiran Airow 3, offering customer service, training, and product expertise.
