Cassie Pound watched her husband Oscar build a career in the HVAC industry and was just waiting for the right time to join him in a big way by starting their own company.
“He had been in the field for over 20 years, and when the time was right, we took a leap of faith,” Pound said.
That time was 2014, when the couple founded Quality Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing, and they have since built it into a multi-million-dollar business from scratch.
“Together, we established how to leverage our different backgrounds and knowledge while streamlining new processes to grow a company unlike any in our area,” Pound said.
The No. 1 core value at Quality Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing is to serve people.
In addition, Pound has always been an advocate for women in the trades. One way that she has done that is by launching and co-hosting a Power Women of the Trades podcast, where they focus on showcasing women doing big work in the trades.
“My goal is to continue to grow our brand to be able to create more jobs for the tradespeople in our area,” Pound said. “I’m a firm believer that the trades can be option No. 1 and a lifelong career, and I want to advocate for that.”
