“Aside from fact that he was always smiling, he had an excellent work ethic,” said Chris Daly of RHI Supply. “After a few months, Taylor decided that college did not suit him at this stage of his life and asked to go full-time. Generally the position of a warehouse guy doesn't allow you to engage with the customers much. This was not the case with Taylor. Within a year, many contractors that came to the store were calling him by name. And we noticed that he has been asking them questions about their interests and families.”

Hill ended up graduating from HVACR tech school and was selected to compete in the national Skills USA challenge. In his nearly a decade at RHI supply, he has worked his way to inside sales manager at their Fargo location. He is also on the advisory board for the HVAC program at the local tech school.

“A goal that I have is to continue to gain knowledge of the continuously changing HVAC industry,” Hill said. “A big part of that is to stay current with the changing EPA regulations to better inform and teach both customers and fellow employees.”
