Facts + Figures: AHRI Shipment Data for April 2022
YEAR-TO-DATE: Year-to-date U.S. shipments of residential gas storage water heaters decreased 3.8% and residential electric storage water heater shipments increased 6.8%. Year-to-date U.S. shipments of commercial gas storage water heaters decreased 9.3% and commercial electric storage water heater shipments decreased 27.5%. Year-to-date U.S. shipments of gas warm air furnaces decreased 6.5% and shipments of oil warm air furnaces decreased 15.5%. Year-to-date combined shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps increased 4.4%, shipments of central air conditioners increased 4.2%, and the total for heat pump shipments increased 4.8%.
