ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has awarded Ryan Kletz of Classic Air’s One Hour Heating and Cooling in Virginia Beach, Va., with the ACCA Distinguished Service Award, sponsored by Honeywell.
ACCA depends on the dedicated efforts of hundreds of volunteers who devote thousands of hours to committee service and providing leadership and guidance on standards development, public policy, and membership programs. Each year, ACCA recognizes one volunteer who has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to ACCA and the contracting industry with the Distinguished Service Award.
Kletz was selected for this honor because of his enthusiasm and commitment to helping ACCA and its members be better businesspeople by becoming more active in the industry. Kletz has served on ACCA’s events committee for four years, and as co-chair for the past two years. As a member of ACCA’s events committee, Kletz ensures that attendees of all of ACCA’s events gain the most sought-after and valuable knowledge and insights to continue growing their businesses. Kletz will join ACCA’s Board of Directors in 2022.
“Ryan’s commitment to serving on the events committee makes him the clear choice for this honor,” said Barton James, ACCA president and CEO. “He is a true champion of the industry, and constantly strives to nurture the growth and success of all industry members. Ryan cares about each member, owner, and technician, we are lucky to have him as one of our leaders.”
“Ryan consistently drives high performance from his team,” said Alisha Lawrence, One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning client care manager. “His passion for the customer and teammate experience has driven him to change the industry. His firm belief that our industry is able to encapsulate technical excellence, experiential excellence, and business excellence has driven him to create a community of growth and development within the ACCA family.
