HFC Phasedown, IGSHPA Conference, Daikin ATMOSPHERA, Energy Efficiency Survey
The start of the new year brings the beginning of the HFC phasedown, as mandated by the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act (AIM Act); the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) recently joined with the National Groundwater Association (NGWA) for Groundwater Week; for the first time in North America, Daikin is offering a home product featuring R-32, a refrigerant with one-third of the GWP of the most common refrigerants currently being used in the United States and Canada; and a recent study conducted by Rockwool Group and Cambridge Econometrics measured public support for energy efficiency upgrades.
