In exploring its options for the 2021 Energy & Store Development Conference, FMI wanted to provide a unique virtual experience for food retail professionals in store development, refrigeration, and energy. However, after consulting with its planning committee and given the continued pandemic and additional workloads on the community, the decision was made to cancel the online event planned for September 13-15, 2021.

To stay connected, FMI plans to offer relevant, timely education and conversations on the most pressing topics this fall, including:

• American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act's impact on stores;
• Evolution of omnichannel; and
• Sustainability solutions.
