Description: Ingenii’s GEN2 Box now allows for the safe storage of a variety of ancillary devices while also eliminating air leakage from the evaporator site. These devices, required to create an integrated HVAC system, include inline pumps, transformers needed to power smart thermostats, and adapters for integration with smart hubs. The GEN2 Box is offered in two versions.  The first, using recycled ABS plastic, is for installations where high-voltage ancillary devices are not needed, or their installation does not require an UL-rated product.  The second version uses fire-rated ABS and has an UL-50E certification, which may be required by certain municipalities or for commercial installations. Both versions are suitable for use with metal and metal studs at 16-inch centers and will accommodate rigid PVC or copper pipe and flexible drain hose.
