Despite bumping up against the Super Bowl and dealing with coronavirus concerns, the AHR Expo welcomed more than 50,000 attendees to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando the week of February 3.

The event included more than 1,900 exhibiting companies — 577 international and 295 that were first-time exhibitors. This was a noticeably bump from the 2019 Expo in Atlanta, when attendance was just over 45,000 with 1,824 exhibitors.

“There is a lot of excitement, and I see a lot of new products,” AHRI CEO Steve Yurek said. “There is also a lot of focus on training. It is giving contractors and technicians different tools that they don’t have.”

The 2020 show featured more than 200 sessions in the education program, inspired by current and future HVACR trends.
