KENNESAW, Ga. — Carrier invited its channel partners and Controls Expert contractors to participate in the Carrier Controls Expert Expo in Orlando, Florida. The Expo is part of the Carrier Controls Expert continuing education training program that launched in 2013 and currently has more than 600 certified contractors in over 20 countries.

More than 150 attendees from around the globe attended the Expo. Events included educational sessions, smaller product breakouts, technical training sessions, and networking opportunities. Educational sessions included topics such as lighting trends, selling strategies for the i-Vu building automation system, new product introductions, i-Vu success stories, and building automation security. A highlight for attendees was the opportunity to participate in the product kiosk breakout where they met product experts, asked questions, and viewed new products, including TruVu™ controllers, central plant optimization controllers, and peripherals including sensors, valves, and thermostats. The Carrier Control Experts also had the option to stay longer for technical training on networking, third party integration, the new EcoReports™ energy management package, and advanced features of i-Vu® v7.

“It’s amazing to see how the Carrier Controls Expert program has matured to include so many excellent Controls Expert contractors from around the globe,” said Dominic Eorio, Carrier Controls Expert program manager. “We are proud of their commitment to continuing education. Their participation in this event certainly reinforces that commitment.”
