NORTEK Global HVAC Presented with Workplace Safety Award
Dyersburg plant honored for 824,058 hours without a lost workplace injury or illness

ST. LOUIS — Nortek Global HVAC was recognized recently by the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration (TOSHA) for a spotless safety record at its 350,000-square-foot Dyersburg, Tennessee, manufacturing plant.
The Dyersburg facility, one of only nine facilities in the state to earn the award this year, worked more than 824,058 hours without a lost time workplace injury or illness to qualify for the Commissioner’s Award of Excellence.
“Nortek Global HVAC has demonstrated a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, said Steve Hawkins, deputy commissioner of employment safety and security, Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, who presented the award with Wendy Fisher, assistant commissioner, TOSHA, at the recent Tennessee Safety and Health Conference in Nashville.
