On Friday, September 27, the North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) will host a free, full-day, educational workshop on low-GWP refrigerants in Albany, New York, that will focus on refrigerant regulations, efficiency opportunities, and technology trends.

The workshop is designed to help supermarket retailers, service contractors, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, utilities, and engineering firms prepare for future refrigerant regulations in New York, by answering the following questions:

  • What refrigerant regulations will be put in place next in New York?
  • What are the benefits and challenges of low-GWP refrigerant options?
  • What are the strategies to optimize energy performance of low-GWP technologies?
  • What are the funding mechanisms available now -- and in the future -- to support this transition?

The New York State’s Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) will provide a status update on their proposed regulations. Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to engage in the regulatory process and provide input on New York’s phasedown plan. A happy hour will follow the workshop.

Space is limited, so register today here.
