Bacharach Inc. is offering a free webinar that identifies five common refrigerant leak types. By classifying over 2.8 billion recorded refrigerant samples into five easy-to-understand types, Bacharach’s Parasense software platform brings simplicity for those responsible for helping drive down refrigerant emissions.

“Each of the refrigerant leak types identified has its own behaviors and characteristics, and it’s important that we share this information so that these leaks can be identified and stopped as early as possible,” said Jason Ayres, application support engineer for the Parasense software platform.

Ayres, who has over 20 years of experience in helping refrigeration system owners and contractors identify leaks, manage refrigerant, and reduce energy consumption, added, “Leaks sometimes come and go depending on the operating conditions, making them very difficult and time consuming to track down. That’s why we hope our webinar will explain the common leak types we’ve come across in our 30 years’ experience in refrigerant leak detection and reporting.”

The importance of quickly detecting, notifying, and fixing refrigerant leaks helps ensure product quality and employee and customer safety, while reducing operating costs and improving equipment performance. The five common leak types that Bacharach has discovered as part of the large-scale analysis of refrigerant leak samples can help improve understanding and drive down refrigerant leaks.

The findings are available at Bacharach’s watch-on-demand webinar, located at blog.mybacharach.com/watch-now-refrigerant-leak-events.
