SPRING GROVE, Ill. — Intermatic Inc. announced a new strategic partnership with LAE Electronic, a global manufacturer of compact refrigeration control solutions. The partnership expands Intermatic’s capabilities within the HVACR OEM space and brings new solutions to customers throughout North America under the LAE by Intermatic brand.

A suite of LAE by Intermatic refrigeration control solutions will be made available to OEM partners and HVACR distributors in early 2019. Additionally, LAE Electronic will aid Intermatic in specifying customizable refrigeration control solutions for OEM partners across North America.

“By partnering with a proven leader in the refrigeration control space, Intermatic is able to bring efficient, tech-forward solutions to our HVACR customers in North America while maintaining the high manufacturing standards that have built our reputation within the industry,“ said Michael Bartindale, director of sales at Intermatic. “A natural extension to our current product line, LAE by Intermatic solutions will help HVACR customers take a progressive approach to their cooling, refrigeration, and cooking needs.”

LAE Electronic specializes in customizable refrigeration controls that combine multiple components, such as digital thermostats, adaptive defrost controls, anti-fogging elements, lighting relays, and remote networking devices into a single compact refrigeration control. The company also develops software and interactive displays for HVACR applications, as well as connected solutions that leverage temperature data to optimize performance and reduce maintenance issues.

Working in tandem with Intermatic, LAE by Intermatic controls will cater to the evolving refrigeration needs of restaurants, food service businesses, retail food stores, and more.

“As the HVACR industry moves away from limited-function controls, there’s a growing demand for smart controls that perform multiple functions, reduce maintenance needs, and promote energy efficiency,” Bartindale said. “LAE by Intermatic solutions are primed to bridge this gap and deliver unique, lasting value to customers.”
