PRICE INCREASES
Evapco Inc. (Taneytown, Maryland) announced a price increase on cooling towers, closed circuit coolers, options and accessories, the eco-Air Series of Dry and Adiabatic units, evaporators, CPA systems, SSTP Penthouse evaporators, EDF make-up air units, Evapcold, RVS, water systems, and ice coils, effective immediately.
Ingersoll Rand’s (Davidson, North Carolina) commercial HVAC business unit announced a price increase of up to 4 percent on select applied and unitary equipment for Trane® (Davidson, North Carolina), effective Oct. 12.
Ruskin (Grandview, Missouri) announced a price increase of 3 to 4 percent on all orders, effective Nov. 1.
RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTORS
Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning LLC (Plano, Texas) acquired Aames Plumbing & Heating doing business as The Pink Plumber (Atlanta) with locations in Atlanta; Tampa, Florida; and Dallas.
Assured Comfort Heating, Air & Plumbing (Atlanta) acquired Gus HVAC Inc. (Canton, Georgia), expanding its territory into the greater Canton and Alpharetta areas.
COMMERCIAL CONTRACTORS
HB McClure Co. LLC (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) announced a merger with Accu-Aire Mechanical Systems Inc. (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) and its engineering division, MMG Engineering LLC (Lancaster, Pennsylvania).

HiberSense Inc. (Pittsburgh) announced that the Pittsburgh Technology Council has named it a Tech 50 Awards finalist in the Start Category.
Ali Group (Chicago) named Gary Mick president of Ice-O-Matic (Denver), an Ali Group company, effective Sept. 10.
SOFTWARE
ServiceTitan (Glendale, California) ranks 13th in the Large Company Category in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Best Places to Work 2018 list. The list recognizes the 100 best employers in Los Angeles County.
