FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — Thermostat Recycling Corp. (TRC) recently promoted Danielle Myers to operations and compliance manager. Myers joined TRC in December 2016 as executive administrative assistant and office manager.

In her new position, Myers will be responsible for administrative and operations functions while managing the processing facility’s performance, reporting on issues and maintaining regulatory compliance.

“Danielle has shown leadership and initiative and merited the promotion,” said Ryan Kiscaden, executive director, TRC. “Her diligence and industry knowledge allowed her to quickly grasp the fundamental nature of TRC’s mission, making the promotion a logical choice.”

Myers holds a bacherlor’s degree in leadership, ethics, and organizational sustainability from the Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University. She has been involved in the sustainability industry since 2013. Her background includes helping for-profit companies achieve B Corp. certification by meeting rigorous social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency standards.

“The promotion is an honor, and I look forward to furthering TRC’s goals,” Myers said. “The organization’s mission allows me to pursue my passion for environmental sustainability and expand my knowledge of the HVAC industry. My goal is to maintain TRC’s position as the leader in collecting and safely recycling mercury thermostats.”
