ANAHEIM, Calif. — Fieldpiece Instruments will be moving to a larger facility with an expanded state-of-the-art quality laboratory, research and development workshop, and new testing equipment. The company plans to move into the new building in early 2016. The new 27,000-square-foot building is approximately double the size of their current facility.

The new state-of-the-art Quality and R&D lab will include a 3D printer, temperature chamber, tensile tester, wind tunnel and HALT chamber. In addition, the new testing laboratory will house different types of furnaces and air-conditioning units for testing.

“Fieldpiece has been offering innovative and high-quality products ever since we started in the HVACR test tools business in 1990,” said Russ Harju, product manager at Fieldpiece. “Our new facility will give us even more ability to do in-house testing, advanced design engineering and even 3D modeling.”

Starting as a small manufacturer focusing exclusively on the HVACR field service technician, Fieldpiece has continued that single emphasis and to this day creates new products solely for the HVACR industry and field service technicians in particular.
