A ribbon-cutting event at a new Johnstone Supply location in New Castle, Del.

NEW CASTLE, Del. — A ribbon-cutting event at a new Johnstone Supply location in New Castle, Del., was celebrated with all-day sale items and door prizes. The branch is located one mile from Wilmington and less than a half mile from three major expressways and has access to the Delaware Memorial Bridge.

According to the company, this branch is the first Johnstone Supply to open in the state of Delaware. The facility, located at 19 East Commons Blvd., New Castle, has a large showroom, training room, and parking lot. Dean Mader will be the branch manager.

“We have been serving the area for over 30 years, and it has continued to grow,” said Rich Comunale, president of Johnstone Supply. “Having a store at this location will enable us to provide better and more convenient service to our Delaware customers.”
