ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. -- The Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International, represented by Asia AMCA in the Asia Pacific region, launched a bilingual website. The site iswww.asiaamca.org, According to AMCA, the Asia region has experienced tremendous growth in AMCA membership, due in part to their newly formed Engineer Associates Program. The association said that this is what is driving the need to develop English and Chinese versions of the Asia AMCA website in order to better serve the needs of new members and associates in the region.

The Asia AMCA website provides technical information, news and events occurring in real time at AMCA International, with a particular focus on the the Asia region.
"Asia is AMCA's fastest growing area of the world in terms of membership in the organization, necessitating information to be available in the native language," said Wade Smith, executive director of AMCA International.

"The Engineer Associates Program, launched in 2013, resulted in a surge of industry professionals joining our organization, indicating a need for a Chinese language information source," said Madame Goh Swee Lee, executive director, Asia AMCA. "We recognized the value of a strategic partnership with these engineers who specify AMCA certified ratings, and our goal was to make information available to them in their own language in order to serve them better."

Asia AMCA, based in Singapore, represents AMCA International in the administration of its Certified Ratings Program and the promotion of AMCA membership in the Asia Pacific Region, from India to Australia. Its independent accredited laboratory is equipped to perform air and sound testing ans damper leakage and pressure drop testing in accordance with AMCA International's test standards.
