COLUMBUS, Ohio – HARDI introduced the new Distributor Performance Analytics LLC at the Management Methods Committee meeting during the association’s annual conference. The project was formed by four industrial distributor associations to assist all fellow distributor associations in their efforts to improve their benchmarking pursuits.

“The goal of this project is to provide a solution that will not only increase participation by providing industry benchmarking that is modern, timely, and actionable, but by also providing cross-industry benchmarking capabilities,” said Greg Borr, the manager of corporate operations and purchasing at the O’Connor Co. in Lenexa, Kan., and co-vice chair of the Management Methods Committee. “The ability to ad-hoc report and filter dashboards will enable HARDI members to have a completely customizable performance benchmarking application. That combined with the increased frequency and timeliness of the outputs will help HARDI members develop measurements and key performance indicators that effectively drive business strategy and goals.”

The efforts of Distributor Performance Analytics LLC are in collaboration with the Industrial Supply Association, the Power Transmission Distributors Association PTDA, the Worldwide Cleaning Association (formerly the International Sanitary Supply Association), and the Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution. The groups are financing the development of custom software for benchmarking analysis. According to the company, its main goal is to provide members with a quicker and easier way to access business performance analytics online with data that is updated quarterly for prompt analysis, efficient access, and greater insight into key performance indicators.
