SEATTLE — Plumbers for a Cure, a full-service plumbing company based in Seattle, is pledging a portion of its proceeds toward the fight against cancer.

Plumbers for a Cure provides 24-hour emergency and same-day services and has highly skilled technicians who understand the stress of plumbing problems and the associated budget constraints.

Upon completion of plumbing services, and during the payment process, customers can choose from a list of five cancer-related charities to donate to.

"We see every day how cancer affects families in our community," said Eric Davis, president and founder of Plumbers for a Cure. "Our company believes it can handle plumbing issues while fulfilling an obligation to support the cancer research community. This business model creates a win-win situation for everyone while still saving our customers money."

This cancer charity feature does not cost customers more money; in fact, "Due to our low overhead as a company, we are able to offer customers lower plumbing rates than competitors while a portion goes toward the fight against cancer,” said Davis.

Plumbers for a Cure's mission statement is to provide fast and resolute plumbing services with a humanitarian touch to help fight cancer.

"We believe the charities we have partnered with are the local leaders in efforts to finding a cure,” Davis said. “We want to help as much as we can.”
