IT Landes Announces Promotion of Current Employee-owner
Sara Kann appointed corporate development manager of holding company, HB McClure
Harleysville, Pa. — IT Landes Co. recently announced that current employee-owner, Sara Kann, has been promoted to the position of Corporate Development Manager.
Kann has been with IT Landes and its holding company, HB McClure of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for five years. In February 2012, she was hired by HB McClure to assist with payroll processing. During this time she also supported HB McClure’s conversion to Davisware GlobalEdge, an end-to-end business tool for streamlining and growing companies. She continued to advance at HB McClure, moving into the role of accounts receivable supervisor in 2013, and accounting manager of IT Landes in July 2015.
Corporate development manager is a new position that was created to support both companies’ growing corporate communications and human resources departments. In this role Kann will be working directly with Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Kyle Seaman, to lead research on new business opportunities as well as supporting the acquisition process from a project management standpoint.
“Sara has been an extremely valuable member of our team during her tenure and we are thrilled for her to begin her new role,” said Seaman. “Her years of experience at IT Landes and HB McClure paired with high levels of skill in business development and accounting makes her the clear fit for this position.”
Prior to her career at IT Landes and HB McClure, Kann spent 10 years working in the banking and finance industry. She worked as a teller while studying to get her bachelor’s degree in mass communications at Chambersburg, Pennsylvania’s, Wilson College. After receiving her degree, she moved to Chicago where she worked as a credit and collections specialist for Navistar Financial Corp.
