Brauer Supply to Distribute Venstar HVAC Control Products in the Midwest

Will handle commercial and residential thermostats in five Midwestern states

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Venstar®, a thermostat and energy management systems supplier, announced it has signed an agreement with Brauer Supply of St. Louis for the distribution of Venstar HVAC control products from its locations in northwestern Arkansas, southern Illinois, southeastern Kansas, Missouri, and northwestern Oklahoma.

Venstar thermostat products being distributed by Brauer Supply include:

• ColorTouch® touch screen thermostats with Wi-Fi — Venstar offers six models of its ColorTouch programmable touch screen thermostats: three for residential use and three for commercial use. All of the models have a multi-functional, simple-to-use touch screen. The color touch screen can be programmed to display a picture gallery of up to 100 files to be used as a slideshow. Select models offer Wi-Fi for remote monitoring and control using the Venstar Skyport™ Cloud mobile app. Select models also include humidity control, which can utilize information from the wireless temperature sensor. ColorTouch thermostats are compatible with virtually every type of commercial heating and air conditioning system. ColorTouch Wi-Fi thermostats are also compatible with Amazon® Echo, giving users voice control over their thermostat functions including setting temperatures and turning on heating or air conditioning for one or multiple thermostats in their homes.

• Voyager® programmable wireless thermostats — Venstar offers seven models of its programmable Voyager thermostat: three commercial, three residential, and one that is designed for school environments. Designed for ease of use, Voyager thermostats feature large, easy-to-read displays with easy setup and controls. Select models also include the ability to control or monitor a second temperature sensor, control humidification/dehumidification, and include Energy Watch functionality. The top-of-the-line commercial model also features a light sensor to determine occupancy and if the lights are left on.

Voyager residential thermostats are compatible with smart home solutions, including Amazon Echo, ZigBee, and Z-Wave controllers. Voyager thermostats are also compatible with Amazon Echo’s voice control, giving users convenient voice control over their thermostat functions including setting temperatures and turning on heating or air conditioning for one or multiple thermostats in their homes.
