ATLANTA — Ruud®, part of the Rheem family of brands, has announced a major website redesign. The company said the new Ruud.com is easy to navigate on a smartphone or tablet.
“This is fantastic news for the Ruud brand and those who sell and distribute Ruud products,” said Bill Alderson, corporate director, marketing and digital services. “Our digital services team completed rigorous development and thorough quality assurance testing in an effort to roll out the latest Ruud.com site. The end-result is a customer-focused, approachable website, with a number of new features.”
The Ruud website employs responsive design, which enables the site to adapt and flex in real-time to any/all screen sizes and devices, and runs entirely off the company’s cloud network and application program interface (API) service.
The site features mega menu navigation, which makes it easier to find information in fewer clicks. Each page also contains a call to action, driving the consumer to a product page or to find a contractor for service and installation.
In addition, the site features a stronger focus on lead generation for Ruud contractors and Pro Partners. Included is a completely revamped dealer locator tool which was built specifically to drive more digital sales leads to the contractor.
“This is an exciting time for Ruud,” said Alderson. “Along with the enhanced website, the Ruud-brand also has a redesigned secure customer portal (MyRuud.com) and a new mobile application to make getting information faster while away from the office. Creating mobile-friendly offerings was a top priority when designing the website, app, and customer portal.”
