Description: This temperature-initiated adaptive defrost control solution is designed to meet pending U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) conservation standards. It uses smart sensing technology to defrost evaporator coils only when needed. It pairs with a Grässlin DTAV40 Defrost Timer to temporarily delay a defrost and initiate at an optimal low-usage time. It only defrosts evaporator coils when necessary, and multiple sensor inputs accommodate up to four evaporators. It is expandable by up to 400 feet to reach remote condensing units, and an LED indicator conveys status and fault conditions, including efficiency mode and probe fault.
