Product: SCV Weld In-Line Check Valve
Description: The SCV Weld In-Line Check Valve is used to accurately monitor direction of flow and pressure in liquid, suction, and hot gas lines. It’s designed for welding directly in-line via socket or butt weld end connections and is available for pipe connection sizes ¾-inch to 1 ¼-inch. The valve features a durable stainless steel body, spring, and lapped stainless-to-stainless seating mechanism that allows for weld in-line installation without disassembly. The valve tested for a safe working pressure of 2,000 psig and is approved for compatibility with all modern refrigerants, including ammonia, CO2, halocarbons, and secondary refrigerants. Ideal applications include refrigerant directional flow for packaged units, evaporator defrost control, and receiver pressure winter control.
