Tom Le Duc, formerly of Le Duc & Dexter, and past president of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) of the Redwood Empire and PHCC of California, died Oct. 4 at the age of 68.

Born and raised in Santa Rosa, Le Duc was a lifelong Santa Rosan. He graduated from Montgomery High School in 1965, and often talked about the friends he’d known since high school, grammar school, and even prior. Per the PHCC, Le Duc’s roots in the community ran incredibly deep and were a big reason for the success of his plumbing business. Le Duc would often humbly attribute any success to the fact that he worked with everyone he grew up with.

In addition to owning LeDuc & Dexter Plumbing, he was an active community member and sat on the board of the North Coast Builders Exchange, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Sonoma County, the PHCC, and The Wells Fargo Center.

A celebration of his life was held at Limerick Lane Winery, 1023 Limerick Lane, Healdsburg, California, on Oct. 16.
