Webinar to Discuss ASHRAE’s New Legionella Standard
Will present an overview of what the standard requires for building operators, designers, and contractors
SAN DIEGO — HC Info has announced a webcast that will discuss ASHRAE’s new Legionella standard and its impact on contractors and others.
The 60-minute webcast, “ANSI/ASHRAE 188-2015: Responsibilities, Liability, and Opportunities,” is scheduled for Aug. 18, 2015 at 8 a.m. PST (11 a.m. EST). Matt Freije will present an overview of what ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188-2015 requires for building operators, designers, and contractors. He will also discuss potential liability associated with water management plans; describe services needed from water treatment companies, engineering firms, and industrial hygiene consultants; and take questions from the audience.
Freije is founder and president of HC Info, a provider of risk management plans, training courses, consulting services, and publications on the control of Legionella and other waterborne pathogens.
