ST. LOUIS — Responding to requests by specifying engineers and design-build professionals, Cambridge Engineering, a manufacturer of high temperature heating and ventilation (HTHV) products for large commercial spaces, has launched a new website featuring an engineer-specific portal allowing for easier access to technical information to aid in the design and specification of its HTHV heaters.

“As our name implies, engineering is a key component of our products,” said Randy Niederer, director of marketing for Cambridge. “For years, the energy efficiency of our S and SA-Series HTHV heaters has been a ‘best kept secret’ in the industry. In addition, professionals in the design-build arena and specifying engineers who are familiar with these products have been asking us for a more user-friendly site — a one-stop shop, if you will, where they can get the information and assistance they need quickly. This new design is in direct response to those requests.

“As we’ve talked with engineers over the years,” added Niederer, “they’ve asked us to make it easier to find technical information. The new site features a portal specific to this audience with easy access to product overviews, engineering specifications, case studies, and building studies. There is also a registration component that allows specifying engineers to download CAD installation and dimensional drawings. Visitors who register for this feature receive a user name and password that allows them access to more technically advanced information.

“In addition to serving as an example of how we value the feedback of our clients and customers,” continued Niederer, “the new site helps us get the word out about the myriad advantages of Cambridge HTHV technology.”
