Course Description: The principles of pressure and temperature control systems, including on-off and modulating control loops, sensors, controllers, and safety considerations will be covered in this course. A full range of valve types will also be discussed, including direct, self-acting, pilot-operated, PN-/EL-actuated ball valves, and piston-actuated valves. The course is designed for engineers, designers, energy engineers/managers, project managers, estimators, and facilities and operations personnel who are responsible for condensate recovery, pressure and temperature control, and boiler room systems.
