Obituary: Joe Fristik
Joseph “Joe” Fristik, corporate vice president of marketing and national accounts, Rheem Mfg. Co., passed away, March 25 in Atlanta. With a primary residence in Cleveland, Fristik, who was 57, is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debra, and their three children, Joseph, Kelsey, and Jared.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe’s family during this difficult time,” said JR Jones, president and CEO, Rheem.
Fristik joined Rheem in August of 2011 after being in the sales and marketing industry for more than 30 years. During his rich career, he provided many contributions to the HVACR industry and made many friendships along the way. He also made contributions benefitting Rheem’s growth and spearheaded several new customer acquisitions.
“He was more than a leader at Rheem,” Jones said. “Joe was also a friend and mentor to many. He will be dearly missed.”
A memorial service was held March 29 at Providence Evangelical Church in Avon, Ohio.
