Joseph “Joe” Fristik, 57, corporate vice president of marketing and national accounts at Rheem Mfg. Co., passed away suddenly on March 25, 2015, in Atlanta, Georgia. With a primary residence in Cleveland, Ohio, Joe, who was 57, is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debra, and their three children, Joseph, Kelsey, and Jared.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe’s family during this difficult time,” said Rheem president and CEO JR Jones.

Fristik joined Rheem in August of 2011 after being in the sales and marketing industry for more than 30 years. During his rich career, he provided many lasting contributions to the HVACR industry and made many meaningful friendships along the way. He also made significant contributions benefitting Rheem’s growth and spearheaded several new customer acquisitions.

“He was more than a leader at Rheem,” Jones said. “Joe was also a friend and mentor to many. He will be dearly missed.”

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, March 29, from 2-3 p.m. at Providence Evangelical Church, 35295 Detroit Rd., Avon, Ohio. Following the service there will be a gathering at The Cambria Suites, 35600 Detroit Rd., Avon, Ohio.
