CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — MiTek Industries Inc. announced that it has acquired M&M Manufacturing Co., Fort Worth, Texas. M&M Manufacturing is a major producer of sheet metal products, primarily serving the HVAC market.

M&M was founded by the Stepp family in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1958. The company has grown to become one of the largest manufacturers of HVAC ductwork and related products in the United States, with six manufacturing facilities producing more than 9,000 different products and employing nearly 800 people. M&M provides a range of round, rectangular, oval, and spiral ductwork, fittings, and accessories for residential and commercial applications.

MiTek is a subsidiary of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
